2026 Upcoming Events
Philadelphia is excited to welcome Demo Rinpoche this April for a series of public events!
On Friday, April 24, Rinpoche will speak at the Free Library of Philadelphia from 9:30 – 11:00 am, offering community members an opportunity to engage with Buddhist philosophy.
On Friday, April 24, Rinpoche will give a talk at the Germantown Jewish Center from 6:00 – 7:30pm, creating space for interfaith dialogue and reflection.
On Saturday, April 25, Rinpoche’s visit to Philadelphia will conclude with a teaching at the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia from 10:00am – 12:00pm, where Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike are invited to experience Buddhist teachings in a traditional spiritual environment.

Demo Rinpoche will offer a brief teaching on the beloved classic book by His Holiness
Tenzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama. His Holiness recognized Demo Rinpoche as the 11th Demo Rinpoche in Bodhgaya. Demo Rinpoche’s mala of reincarnations is well known to have strong connections with the lineage of the Dalai Lama.
