ABOUT THE INITIATIONS
Heruka Initiation
The Heruka Initiation in the Nagpopa system is a Maha Anuttara Yoga Tantra initiation.
Requirement: Familiarity with Lam Rim, at the very least Three Principles, acceptance of main Buddhist principles, aspiration for Vajrayana.
Eligibility: If this is your first time receiving a highest yoga tantra initiation or you have questions about your eligibility to receive the Heruka initiation, please contact [email protected].
Commitment: Six Session Guru Yoga
Vajrayogini Initiation
Requirement: Having received a complete Maha Anuttara Yoga Tantra initiation. The Heruka initiation qualifies one to receive the Vajrayogini initiation.
Eligibility: If this is your first time receiving a highest yoga tantra initiation or have questions about your eligibility to receive the Vajrayogini initiation, please contact [email protected]
Commitment for receiving Vajrayogini initiation without teaching: Saying the mantra daily within motivation and dedication verses.
Commitment for receiving Vajrayogini initiation and teachings: Saying the short Vajrayogini sadhana with the mantra daily.

H.E. Dagyab Kyabgon Rinpoche
His Eminence Loden Sherab Dagyab Kyabgon Rinpoche was born in East Tibet in 1940. At the age of four he was recognized as the 9thKyabgon of Dagyab (protector) of the region of Dagyab. Rinpoche is one of the highest Tulkus in Tibet. In 1959, Rinpoche escaped with His Holiness to India. From 1964 to 1966, he directed Tibet House in New Delhi, an internationally recognized institute for the preservation and support of Tibetan culture.
E. Dagyab Rinpoche came to Germany in 1966 in response to an invitation from Bonn University to work as a Tibetologist at its Institute for Central Asian Studies. In the 1980’s, due to the explicit request of people interested in Buddhism, he became active as a spiritual teacher for Europeans. The Buddhist community Chödzong came into being as a result of this collaboration and together with Rinpoche founded Tibet Haus Germany.
