Jonathan F.P. Rose is a long-time student of the late Tibetan Buddhist master Gelek Rimpoche. His business, public policy, teaching, research, writing and not-for-profit work focuses on creating more environmentally, socially and economically resilient cities. He is the founder and President of Jonathan Rose Companies LLC, a real estate development and investment firm, that acquires and develops affordable and mixed-income housing. The firm has long been a leader of environmentally responsible building.
