Verses from the 5th Dalai Lama’s Advice on the two systems

Rimpoche goes through a number of verses of the 5th Dalai Lama advising us how to live life in society skillfully, like not showing a temper to our enemies, asking help from our friends skillfully, not being mean to those we dislike and not overly friendly to those we like, not acting on 3rd hand gossip, speaking in turn, not announcing plans until we are ready to implement them, not spoiling kids, not being hateful to enemies, not overly relying on friends, , not being harsh to subordinates, not being overly generous, so people expect you to give all the time, and even if we have to act against our enemies, to do it gentle, without temper.
