The Qualities of the Sangha/ Generosity acc. to 5th Dalai Lama’s Advice on the Two Systems

A good sangha is well set, well respected. That respect has to be earned. That includes teachers too. In Jewel Heart there are no compulsory prostrations. That sangha should also be united among themselves and have good morality. In addition practice learning, thinking, meditating and develop love and compassion. It is important to be true to oneself, without showbiz or pretending.

When asking for prayers some donations should accompany the request. Generosity is important to build our luck. Resources come from being generous.
