Wrong View and Respecting Elders and Knowledgeable People

The third of the 3 mental negativities that are opposite to the 10 godly dharmas is wrong views, such as denying karma, denying enlightenment, etc. It also includes being suspicious, negative and closed-minded. We should investigate in our experience if Karma is true. We can directly experience that love brings more love and violence brings more violence.

Out of the 16 human dharmas Rimpoche talked about compassion and respect for our elders. Compassion is built on respect. Also we should respect knowledgeable people in society, professionals such as doctors, lawyers, scientist, etc, as they help us understand and manage our lives.
