10 godly dharmas and 16 worldly good dharmas
Gelek Rimpoche reminds us how for every minute we are alive we have to better utilize the dharma. Dharma is referred to on the basis of the earlier Tibetan dharma king Songtsen Gampo, in the 700s, his rules and regulations for Tibetans. Rimpoche describes the 10 godly dharmas (ie. the 10 virtues) with its corresponding 10 non-virtues and also the 16 worldly good dharmas. Together, the 10 godly dharmas and the 16 worldly good dharmas make the individuals much better persons and this is validated through the many direct observations of examples where goodness brings good results and vice versa.
