Vajrayana, the tantric or esoteric aspect of Buddha’s teachings, is rooted in experiential understanding of the intention of the sutras; that is, inner development of compassion and wisdom.
During this weekend retreat, Gelek Rimpoche gives a brief yet comprehensive overview of the basic framework of tantra, illuminating the continuing thread compassion and wisdom that is carried by the vajrayana practitioner.
Rimpoche explores the structure of vajrayana, highlighting the stages and practices contained within various aspects of the vajrayana path, from taking initiation up to the ultimate union of Vajradhara state.
Eight sessions in total, they range from approximately forty-five minutes to two hours in length.
