JEWEL HEART SANGHA-WIDE DISCUSSION ONLINE
KARMA

Karma Dec 2015 GoToMeeting Discussion

Saturday, December 12, 10am – 12noon Eastern Standard Time
Originates from Jewel Heart Ann Arbor

Participate onsite at JH AA or Individually via GoToMeeting

Karma seems to be straightforward on one hand, overwhelmingly complex and intimidating on the other. For instance, how does the collective aspect of karma play out when taking responsibility for yourself and others, or with so called miracles, or the topic of inseparability? How does karma work with dedication or receiving blessings from the guru, being connected to your own positive karma? Looking at how the odds are stacked against beings in the various realms, is it possible to ever fully clear our negativity and build our positivity, given the infinitesimal complexities of motivation, action, and completion?

Bring your own questions/insights and help us move from what can seem to be philosophical projections to actual feet-on-the-ground realities of everyday life. Louis Daher will be our facilitator.

We gather via “GoToMeeting”, an online service that will originate from Jewel Heart Ann Arbor. To participate, please use the following link.

Please join the meeting space from your computer, tablet, or smartphone 15 minutes (9:45am) before the 10am session officially starts.

JEWEL HEART INTERNATIONAL-WIDE MORNING DISCUSSION ON KARMA

Saturday, October 24, 10am – 12noon Eastern Time
Originates from Jewel Heart Ann Arbor

Participate Onsite at the Ann Arbor Center or Individually via GoToMeeting.

Is karma an inexorable fixed external retribution system, or is it simply every individual’s actions and their results? Can we do anything to influence our own future karma and what can we do about karma we have already created? And what about the collective karma of families, societies and nations? How does the interdependence of all human beings on this planet work with statements like “Karma is definite?”

Join us in exploring these and other questions on karma.

Reading Gelek Rimpoche’s short transcript on karma will be helpful to prepare for this discussion.

Please visit & join the meeting space from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
