Open Meditation – Help yourself through meditation. Facilitators provide basic guidance with multiple meditation sessions using the breath as the point of focus. Brief instructions will be provided for newcomers. Free and open to all levels of experience.

White Tara Guided Healing Meditation – Tara is the mother goddess of Tibetan Buddhism, known for her quick and compassionate activity. She is particularly associated with healing and long life. Join us for a guided meditation using visualization techniques to overcome physical, mental and emotional suffering. Free and open to all. Buddhist experience is not required.

DAY OF MEDITATION
Saturday, August 11, 8:30am – 6pmMeditation is an essential tool that helps develop peace and joy, as well as the power to deeply understand wisdom. This day of meditation, open to all experience levels and offered according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, will include practice sessions and light guidance. Instructors will be available for assistance. Silence will be enjoyed throughout the day.Free

MINDFULNESS 1 – CLARITY AND INSIGHT THROUGH MEDITATION
Wednesdays, 7 – 8:30pm ~ beginning October 3

Meditation provides us with a clear and stable mind; necessary for a happy life and the foundation for deepening our spiritual journey. This course offers hands-on experience with the basic elements of meditation using breath, posture and techniques for coping with distractions and laxity of the mind.
