White Tara Guided Healing Meditation – Tara is the mother goddess of Tibetan Buddhism, known for her quick and compassionate activity. She is particularly associated with healing and long life. Join us for a guided meditation using visualization techniques to overcome physical, mental and emotional suffering. Free and open to all. Buddhist experience is not required.

MINDFULNESS 2 – DEEPENING AWARENESS

Becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations through meditation opens the door to understanding the nature of our mind and how it influences our experience.

DAYS OF MEDITATION

Saturdays, January 19 and March 9, 8:30am – 6pm

Meditation is an essential tool that helps develop peace and joy, as well as the power to deeply understand wisdom. This day of meditation, open to all experience levels and offered according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, will include practice sessions and light guidance. Instructors will be available for assistance. Silence will be enjoyed throughout the day.

Lam Rim, or Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, is Buddha’s teachings presented step-by-step to allow for gradual experiential awareness and understanding of our inner and outer world. Through this process, we can transform the challenges and confusion encountered in ordinary everyday life to the extraordinary compassion and wisdom of enlightenment.
