JH Cleveland News
Thirteen of us enjoyed our first GOM practice day, a full day of silent concentrated meditation in a peaceful forest setting provided by the Kirchners, who also prepared delicious vegetarian food for lunch and dinner. We look forward to a meditation weekend sometime this coming spring - watch newsletters for details.
In November, Gelek Rimpoche gave three days of intensive teachings on Nyur Lam, the Quick Path. Those of us who watched the broadcast in Cleveland concluded that it was almost as good as hearing Rimpoche in person - and soon we will have the ability to have two-way live audio and visual communication with him during the teachings! The Sangha council executive committee is working with technical folks in Ann Arbor to make this possible.
Our Tsongkhapa Day Tsoh was attended by more than 30 people. All were uplifted by the beautiful ceremony of offering to enlightened beings to commemorate Je Tsongkhapa, by reconnecting with friends and by Chunden-la's delicious soup!
