Creating Space: Clarity and Insight through Meditation
Meditation provides us with a clear stable mind, necessary for a happy life and the foundation for deepening our spiritual journey. This course offers hands-on experience with the basic elements of meditation using breath, posture and techniques for coping with distractions and laxity of the mind. An excellent introduction to Tibetan Buddhist meditation for beginning and intermediate students.

Four Noble Truths
This course aims to give initial insight into the main message of the Buddha: that there is suffering and that it can be eliminated completely through one’s own efforts. A transcript of Gelek Rimpoche’s teachings on this subject serves as course material. Open to all.

Odyssey to Freedom
Section Three: Creating Our World: Habit Patterns and Karma
Gelek Rimpoche created the Odyssey to Freedom as a concise and complete introduction to the stages of the spiritual path from wherever you are right now to full enlightenment. Each class begins with a short, videotaped teaching on the evening’s topic by Gelek Rimpoche. This course is an ideal introduction to Tibetan Buddhism. New students are welcome.

Lam Rim II: The Medium Scope
The Lam Rim, or stages on the path to enlightenment, precisely outlines the entire spiritual path and is Je Tsongkhapa's most important legacy. Topics in this section include recognizing the true nature of our cycle of existence and discovering what we must do to follow the path of liberation. Includes guided analytical meditation on the Lam Rim points.
